“Start at the beginning”, is what everyone is told to do when telling a story.

However, in the music and production business, sometimes it’s hard to tell exactly where the beginning is. Is it when you first start to learn an instrument, attend your first industry class, and get your first “paying gig?

That would make for a long story as the personnel at W.I.G. Productions have been at this a long time.

The company was founded in May 2000 by 2 touring musicians, David Montgomery and Russell Law who had together 40 years professional experience in touring, production, stage design, lighting, and recording.

The company’s first production was the enormous Grand opening of a Narcanon facility, where they were called upon to facilitate an intimate gala for 2500 dignitaries, heads of state and movie stars.

From there they went on to handle event co-ordination, for corporate events ,concerts for Gold and Platinum selling artists, and design and install sound and lighting systems for Churches Schools, Football Stadiums and Concert Venues.

Russell left the company to go on tour with Crooked X, Kiss, and Ted Nugent .Russell continues to be one of the industry’s best Live Sound Engineers.

David stayed at W.I.G. and continued the mission they started.  To “make it happen” for their clients, whatever the need. Having seen how clients could be mistreated ,from the inside of the industry, they resolved to  be” Working In Grace” ( W.I.G. ) for the client, striving to go above and beyond what has always been the norm.
